Why Rain Barrels?

When water filters through the ground, everything rain passes goes into our waterways.  This includes animal refuse, fields, pesticides, chemicals, and human waste.  A rain barrel can be used to collect rain from your gutter and deposited directly in to river and streams, alleviating some of our bio-load on our waterways. Some people even uses rain barrels to collect rain for use in gardens and livestock use!
